Background

I was born in Northridge, California, and grew up in nearby Reseda, where I spent the first 17 years of my life before moving to New Port Richey, Florida, the day after graduating from High Tech Los Angeles in 2021.

From a young age, I’ve been drawn to both technology and nature—two worlds that seem opposite but share the same complexity and beauty. Whether it’s taking apart electronics or observing the patterns of leaves and roots, I’ve always been curious about how things work. That curiosity drives everything I do: I like finding answers on my own and understanding every layer of a new concept, whether it’s a circuit or a system.

Life Outside of Tech

When I’m not in front of a computer, I’m usually outside tending to my gardens. I maintain both a butterfly garden and a vegetable garden, where monarchs, gulf fritillaries, zebra longwings, and giant swallowtails visit daily. Watching cherry tomatoes ripen from seed to salad is one of the most rewarding cycles I know.

I also ride (and currently rebuild) a 2024 all-black Kawasaki ZX-6R. I was in an accident on New Year’s Eve 2024, and though I haven’t been back on the road yet, the bike still reminds me of progress and persistence.

I’m a homebody at heart—someone who values solitude, reflection, and quiet focus—but I also enjoy working with people who share my drive and curiosity. That balance helps me be self-sufficient while remaining a strong, reliable teammate.

My Tech Journey

My interest in computers started with my older brother and a healthy dose of trial and error. As the middle child, I naturally became the family’s unofficial IT department. I grew up gaming on an Xbox 360—mostly Halo: Reach, Halo 3, and Apex Legends, where I eventually ranked in the top 500 players. That competitive streak led me to explore how hardware, software, and networks really work.

Now I run two machines:

Home Server — “Proxmox Node”
Ryzen 7 5800X | Corsair Vengeance 64 GB DDR4 | ASUS ROG Strix 2070 | 240 mm Cooler Master AIO | 1 TB Sabrent Rocket NVMe.

I use the Proxmox server for virtualization projects, network experiments, and advanced labs. I’ve even crimped and terminated my own Ethernet runs to wire everything cleanly.

Currently, I’m pursuing the CompTIA “triad” of certifications—A+, Network+, and Security+—with a strong interest in cybersecurity. My academic goal is to graduate Summa Cum Laude in Fall 2026.

Values & Philosophy

My core rule is simple: if you’re not giving your best effort, you’re wasting your time. My dad taught me that, and it stuck. I value diligence, curiosity, and honesty in every task.

I’m always open to constructive criticism because blind spots can’t be fixed if they’re ignored. I see feedback as free insight—another angle to refine how I think or work.

Professionally, I aim to be dependable, disciplined, and relentlessly curious—the kind of person who improves systems instead of just using them. Whether I’m solving a support ticket or optimizing a network, my goal is precision, efficiency, and growth.

Vision & Goals

My long-term vision is to stay in the tech world and never stop learning. I plan to earn a master’s degree in computer science and explore paths in cybersecurity, networking, or ethical hacking.

I want to be the person teams rely on—the one who can bridge gaps between systems, users, and solutions. My goal isn’t just to master one area but to understand enough of many to build complete, scalable solutions that actually help people.

Fun Facts

People constantly mispronounce my name—and yes, I’ve heard it said Jurassic Park a thousand times. I take it as a reminder that not everything has to be serious!
